Hammond’s 2020 Tree Lighting Ceremony Announced
HAMMOND, IN – Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. has announced that the 2020 Tree Lighting Ceremony to kick off the Holiday season will be held on Friday, November 27 at 6:00 p.m. in front of Hammond City Hall, located at 5925 Calumet Avenue.
There will feature a special performance by the Calumet College of St. Joseph Dance Team and The Hammond Academy of Performing Arts Singers. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served while supplies last. Those planning on attending in person, officials ask that you please wear a mask and social distance. This event will also be aired on Facebook Live on GoHammond for those who cannot join in person.
