Lowell Man Killed After Shooting
An overnight shooting in Lowell on the 17900 block of Lincoln Court left a Lowell man dead Sunday morning around Midnight.
Sources close to the investigation are saying an off duty Veterans Affair Officer shot the man after a disturbance. It is believed both men were together. The circumstances leading up to the event are unclear at this time still.
The Lake County Coroner has identified the man as Nicohlas Lile, 42, of Lowell. Lile was a veteran as well, RNS was told.
The investigation is believed to have been taken over by a Federal Agency early Sunday. More on this story to come through the morning.
