Car Crash In Crown Point Leads To Police Search
Crown Point Police were called to a single vehicle accident this afternoon where a car hit a concrete pylon, Assistant Chief Jim Janda of the Crown Point Police told RNS. The accident occurred at 1304 N Main St near Oasis Video.
On arrival police learned the driver fled on foot from the scene. Police could be seen establishing a perimeter and tracking the driver according to an RNS correspondent on scene. The Lake County Sheriff Helicopter was also called into assist. Janda told RNS they are looking for a white male in his 40’s.
