Chicago Police Chase Ends On Dolton Ave Off Ramp Of 94
Initial reports coming in from police sources are stating a pursuit began in Chicago by CPD of a stolen Lexus SUV that was possibly involved in a drive by shooting. Illinois State Police are advising they were called to assist in the pursuit of a homicide suspect. The pursuit started on Stoney Island to the 130th area then 143rd back to Torrence onto the Bishop Ford / 94. The white Lexus SUV took the off ramp at Dolton Ave and slid into a pole before crashing down the embankment. 5 suspects were taken into custody and all refused treatment for any injuries by the Calumet City Fire Department. The suspects are believed to be teenagers.
Agencies involved in this pursuit consisted of Chicago Police, Illinois State Police, Calumet City Police and Dolton Police.
