Crash Sends Truck Into Building In Munster
Around 12:15 PM, Tuesday, a four car crash occurred in the 8200 block of Calumet Ave in Munster sending one truck into an office building.
Preliminary investigation by Munster Police suggests the pick up truck driver attempted to make a U Turn on Calumet Ave when the driver collided with a vehicle going southbound on Calumet. That collision veered the truck into a parking lot and then ultimately the building. A total of 4 vehicles were involved in this crash.
Munster Fire Chief Mark Hajduk is reporting only minor injuries to the passenger in the pick up truck.
