Driver With Medical Emergency Crashes Through Chuck E Cheese In Hobart
Tuesday morning at approximately 11:00 AM, a driver who was driving a pickup truck westbound on the 2900 block of Route 30 had a medical emergency and went off the roadway crashing through Chuck E. Cheese in Hobart, according to Hobart Fire Officials.
Firefighters entered the building to pull the unconscious driver to safety as his vehicle burned and caused significant damage. Firefighters pulled the driver out and he was transported to a local hospital. The business had just opened, and customers were at the front desk at the time of impact. Luckily, nobody else was injured, officials said.
The building suffered a considerable amount of damage and no word on when plans to reopen will be.
