F.A.S.T Team & US Marshals Team Up In Fugitive Apprehension
During the weeks of January 27th and February 3rd, 2020, members of the Fugitive Apprehension Street Team (FAST) were assigned to a U.S. Marshals Service operation in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. FAST joined forces with other regional and national Task Force Officers and U.S. Marshals Service personnel for “Operation Relentless Pursuit.”
During the operation, over 50 fugitives were apprehended and arrested. Some of the charges of those arrested included homicide, drug and firearms offenses, human trafficking, armed robbery and state and federal violations of parole, just to name a few.
FAST, which is part of the Great Lakes United States Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force, is comprised of personnel from the La Porte County Sheriff’s Office, Michigan City Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service. FAST appreciates the continued strong presence and services being provided by the U.S. Marshals Service in La Porte County.
