High Waves Prompts Beach Hazard Warnings
The National Weather Service Chicago has issued a Beach Hazard due to North to northeast winds of around 20 MPH being expected this morning resulting in 4 to 6 foot high waves along the shores of Lake Michigan. Life threatening waves and currents are expected through noon Thursday. If you are visiting southern Lake Michigan beaches this morning, stay out of the water!
