Hobart House Fire Friday
Around 6pm Friday Hobart Fire responded to a structure fire call on the 1000 block of South Hobart Road. The fire appears to have started near the back of the home but investigators are awaiting to inspect the scene as crews are still extinguishing hot spots as of 7:15pm. Four individuals have been displaced from this home but there are no injuries to report, according to Hobart Fire Department Assistant Chief John Reitz.
Hobart Fire Department was assisted by Merrillville Fire Department, Lake Station Fire Department, and Hobart Police.
