Homicide Investigation Ongoing After Gary Man Shot Saturday
Gary Police are now investigating a homicide case after a Gary man succumbed to his injuries at Advocate Christ Medical Center. Gary Police say a male was shot in his head Saturday around 11:30am at his residence on the 2500 block of Calhoun in Gary. This marks Gary’s 7th Homicide of 2020.
The victim has now been identified as Scott Stewart, 50, of Gary, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner.
