Homicide Investigation Underway In Calumet City
The Calumet City Police Department and EMS responded to a shots fired call Thursday morning at 3:14am on the 500 block of Lincoln, according to Chief Christopher Fletcher of the Calumet City Police. On arrival officers found a 25 year old man in a vehicle with apparent gun shot wounds. Officers began life saving measures to the victim until Fire Department personnel arrived. The victim however succumbed to his injuries, Fletcher stated. The victims identity has not been released yet and we will update as information becomes available.
