ILLINOIS STATE POLICE INVESTIGATE SHOOTING ON THE DAN RYAN EXPRESSWAY
Illinois State Police (ISP) officials are investigating a reported shooting, which occurred on Thursday, January 2nd, 2020 at approximately 2:45 p.m. at I-94 northbound local lanes at 35th Street.
ISP officers responded to the aforementioned location to speak with a victim of the reported expressway shooting. The male driver was uninjured. A female front seat passenger and two small children were transported to a local area hospital as a precaution due to flying glass debris. No other injuries were sustained.
The incident remains under investigation and additional updates will be released as they become available.
