Lake Station Shooting Leads To Arrest
On June 5, 2024 at approximately 12:25 AM, Porter County Police Officers located a female subject who had a gunshot wound to her leg within their jurisdiction, according to Lake Station Police.
After speaking with the victim, those officers were able to relay enough information to Lake Station officers that a crime scene and suspect were quickly located in the 2300 block of Rush Place in Lake Station.
The suspect was taken into custody and charges are expected to be presented to the Lake County Prosecutor’s Office in the coming days. Investigators believe that this is an isolated incident between known parties who were willingly engaged in nefarious activities together at the time, according to Lake Station Police.
