Man Cut With Machete Multiple Times After Fight
On April 28th, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Hammond Police responded to a residence in the 1100 block of Cleveland in reference to two males fighting, according to Lt Steve Kellogg of The Hammond Police.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that he got into an argument with someone he knows who was staying at the house. He stated that the male attacked him with a machete and fled the area.
The victim received wounds to his finger and face and was transported to an area hospital and later airlifted to a trauma center.
