Man Hit In Car Accident Dies In Calumet City
On March 9th at approximately 3:12pm Calumet City Police Personnel responded to the area of Wentworth and Detroit for a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian, according to Calumet City Police Chief Chris Fletcher. Officers arrived on scene with medical personnel from the Calumet City Fire Department and discovered a 20 year old male from Calumet City laying in the street. The male was pronounced dead on scene, Fletcher said. The Suburban Major Accident Reconstruction Team was called to assist with the investigation accident along with the Illinois State Police Crime Scene Services and members of the Calumet City Police Department.

UPDATE – Cook County Medical Examiners Office has identified the deceased has Tarone Conway, 20, of Calumet City.
