Man Shot In Casino Parking Garage
On Thursday July 22, 2021 at approximately 1:36 A.M. Officers were dispatched to Ameristar Casino in reference to shots fired on the 2nd floor of the parking garage, according to East Chicago Police.
Upon arrival Officers were advised that a shooting victim was dropped off at St. Catherine Hospital.
The victim was identified as 26 yr old Kwamaine D. Tarver of Tinley Park, Illinois. The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to the University of Chicago Hospital in serious condition.
This case is still under investigation and no further details will be released at this time.
