Man Shot In Hammond Friday Night In Serious Condition
Hammond Police were dispatched to shots fired with a victim hit shortly before 8pm Friday night on the 1100 block of Logan in Hammond.
On arrival officers found a 20 year old male with a gun shot wounds the the leg outside in a grass lot and multiple vehicles struck, according to Lt. Steve Kellogg of the Hammond Police. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was believed to be airlifted to an Illinois trauma center around 9:30PM. He is listed in critical condition.
