Man Shot In Neck While In Car In Gary
Shortly before 5pm Thursday Gary Police responded to shots fired in the area of 44th & Washington. On arrival police found damaged vehicles and learned at least one person may have been shot. A short time later a walk in gun shot victim arrived at Northlake Methodist who was shot in the neck. Police arrived at Northlake and found a black vehicle with damage to multiple windows and bullet holes in the hood and sides of the car. The suspect in the shooting is believed to be known to the victim.
