Man Shot & Killed In Gary Thursday Afternoon
Gary Police & Lake County Metro Homicide are investigating a second homicide that occurred around 2pm Thursday.
Gary Police & Fire were dispatched to the 2100 block of W. 19th for a gun shot victim near the street. On arrival police found a male that was shot an apparent drive by, according to sources close to the investigation. Gary Fire Department transported this male to Northlake Methodist where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The Lake County Coroner has identified the victim as Latrail Baker, 25, of Gary.
