Multiple Businesses Hit During Overnight Burglaries
On Saturday June 4, 2022 the subject pictured in these surveillance photos burglarized numerous businesses in Lake Station and New Chicago.
In New Chicago, police said the subject threw a large brick through the drive thru window of the Dunkin Donuts, according to Lt. Mayo of the New Chicago Police. The subject then used a large board to clear out the remaining glass in an attempt to make entry. “Thankfully he was not successful on gaining entry and could not cause any additional damage or loss to the business,” Mayo stated.
In Lake Station the subject smashed glass doors with a brick at a gas station, a mini mart, and Long John Silvers. It is believed to be the same subject as the New Chicago incident police said.
