One Shot In Merrillville Friday Night
On Friday, August 12, 2022 at approximately 8:15 PM, Merrillville Police were dispatched to the area of the 7000 block of Harrison Street in reference to shots fired, according to Merrillville Police.
Upon arrival of officers, it was determined that one person had been shot and was subsequently transported for medical evaluation and care at a local hospital. Merrillville Police believe this to be an isolated incident.
