Plane Makes Emergency Landing In Porter County Field
A male pilot operating a 2013 Lanceair ES plane reported engine trouble and picked a field to land in and made a successful landing in the area of 694 e 400 s, in rural Morgan Township around 4:37 PM Monday, according to The Porter County Sheriff’s Department.
There is damage to the aircraft but the pilot was ambulatory with no injuries.
Cause of the crash is under investigation by the FAA and the NTSB.
