Pneumonia Front Will Drop Temps Sunday
A “pneumonia front” will send temps rapidly crashing early Sunday evening. A pneumonia front is another way to describe a powerful, lake charged cold front, that results in dramatic temperature falls. After a mild day in the upper 60s and lower 70s, temperatures early Sunday evening with crash into the 40s, likely dropping more than 20F in a matter of minutes along the lakefront, with slightly less dramatic drops farther inland. A period of strong northeast winds behind the front, will only add to the startlingly chilly temperatures behind the front.
