Police Investigating Murder / Suicide In Gary
Police were called to a shooting Friday at 1:20 PM in the 800 block of Fayette St in Gary, according to police.
On arrival they learned three juveniles were hiding in the attic of the home as two adults were apparently involved in a domestic dispute.
Police made entry to the home and discovered two deceased individuals from gun shot wounds. The three juveniles were not injured and transported to the police station. As of this point police are investigating this as a murder / suicide.
The Lake County Coroner was on scene as of 3 PM. The investigation is ongoing at this time involving Metro Homicide.
The female has been identified as Kerry Tucker, 34, of Gary. The male is listed as John Doe at this time.
