Police Say 27 Year Old Man Shot In Hammond

On January 24th, at approximately 9:25 p.m., Hammond police responded to the 7300 block of Indianapolis Boulevard at the GoLo Gas Station in reference to a report of a shooting, according to Lt. Steve Kellogg of the Hammond Police. Officers arrived and spoke with the 27-year-old male victim who stated he was shot by a subject at another location, Kellogg said. The victim walked to the gas station to report the incident. Police are still currently investigating all claims at this time.
