Police Searching For 16 Year Old Runaway
UPDATE – She has been found safe.
Lake County Sheriff’s Department investigators are asking for the public’s help in finding a 16-year-old girl from the Griffith area. Desiree Throw is approximately 5’3” tall, 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
She was reported as a runaway March 1, 2020 through the Lake County Sheriff’s Department. Early this morning, law enforcement received information that her debit card was used out of state; which was confirmed by contacting the establishment where it was used. Alerts have been sent out to multiple state and local agencies near the juvenile’s suspected route.
