Police Seek Info On Winfield Bank Robbery
The Lake County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in solving a bank robbery that occurred in Winfield April 29, 2021.
At approximately 12:45 p.m., a man entered the Centier Bank branch at 8020 E.109th Avenue, handed theteller a note and implied that he had a weapon. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled in a waiting vehicle.
The suspect vehicle is a 2004-2008 gold Nissan Maxima, black wheels, with dark tinted windows and a sunroof.
The suspect is described as a black male, 6 feet tall. At the time of the crime, he was wearing a yellow rain suit with goggles.
