Portage Park Place Apartment Fire Saturday
Portage Fire Department responded to a structure fire call Saturday around 9:15pm at 5990 Old Porter, (Park Place Apartments) Seven families were displaced due to the fire, Assistant Chief Dan Kodicek of The Portage Fire Department told RNS. The fire remains under investigation.
Mutual Aid was brought in from Burns Harbor, Ogden Dunes, South Haven, Union Township, Liberty Township, Porter and The Red Cross.
