Porter County With A Possible Corona Virus Patient
An individual potentially infected with Corona Virus is under medical supervision and has been placed in isolation at a Porter County Hospital. Officials are awaiting the results of lab tests by the CDC for the final diagnosis.
As of now, a total of five people in the United States have been hospitalized with confirmed cases of the Coronavirus. One in Washington, One in Illinois, One in Arizona and two in California. All of those confirmed patients had traveled to Wuhan, China. Currently in China, they have 5,974 confirmed cases, including 132 deaths. A top U.S. health official is sending a team from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to China to help with the outbreak. The CDC is urging travelers to get a hold of their doctor immediately if they start feeling ill.
