Lynwood Police Investigating Homicide
Lynwood Police have confirmed to RNS they are actively investigating a homicide that took place on the 2000 block of Glenwood Dyer Road this evening. Lynwood Deputy Police Chief Terrence Shubert stated a shooting took place near the street and the victim came to rest in a field across the street from the Lynwood Roller Skating Rink. The victim was transported to Franciscan Dyer where he succumbed to his injuries. At this time it is believed there is no affiliation to this incident and the rink, Shubert said.
