Shooting At Hammond Gas Station Injured Female
On February 4th, at approximately 3:50 p.m., Hammond police were dispatched to the Citgo gas station at 169th / Indianapolis Blvd. in reference to a shooting that occurred inside of a vehicle, according to Lt. Steve Kellogg of The Hammond Police. Officers on scene believe this to be an isolated incident and possibly related to a domestic dispute. A child was inside the vehicle at the time and was not injured, Kellogg stated. The female was transported to an area hospital for unknown injuries at this time. One suspect was taken into custody after being located in South Holland shortly after, according to sources.
