Shot Fired Hits Parked Car In Munster

CRIMINAL RECKLESSNESS – 0 Block of Beverly Pl Munster (5/30, 1:49PM).
The reporting party advised that while leaving Cheap Tobacco (15 Ridge) in his vehicle at the same time as a black Jeep driven by a black male suspect, that the suspect exited his vehicle and began to yell and beat on his passenger side window. To avoid a confrontation, the reporting party drove away and reported that the suspect followed him northbound down the alley between Forest and State Line in close proximity. The reporting party further advised that when he turned onto Beverly Place that the suspect vehicle stopped and that he heard what sounded like a gunshot. The suspect then left the scene.
A bullet hole was found in a nearby parked vehicle which went completely through the back window and front windshield.
