Shots Fired In Park West Griffith
On Tuesday, 8/18/2020, at approximately 8:58 PM, officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Park West Blvd in the Park West Apartment Complex, according to Detective Jim Sibley of the Griffith Police.
A caller advised of hearing apparent gunshots being fired in the area and observed 3 males running through the courtyard, police said. A black colored Impala was then observed by the complainant to be speeding from the area.
Officers canvassed the area and spoke with several residents who heard what they believed to have been gunfire, but did not witness the event. During their investigation, officers were unable to locate any injured persons, damage to property, or any other evidence of a firearm being shot, Sibley stated in a release Wednesday morning.
