Two Crown Point Residents Identified In Fatal Motorcycle Crash
Around 2:02 AM on August 27, 2023, the Kankakee County Coroner’s Office was notified of a motorcycle incident that resulted in two fatalities.
The incident occurred near 14770 East and 12000 North Road in Grant Park, Illinois. Preliminary investigation by police revealed that an eastbound motorcycle struck a deer causing the motorcycle to leave the roadway and eject both occupants.
The driver was identified as Jerry E. Adcock, 34, of Crown Point, Indiana, and the passenger was identified as Alyssa R. Sullivan, 34, of Crown Point, Indiana. Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene at 3:00 AM.
Autopsies on both individuals will be performed on August 28, 2023. This incident remains under investigation by the Kankakee County Coroner’s Office and the Kankakee County Sheriff’s Department.
