Two Shot In Gary Friday Afternoon
Around 3:30pm Friday two people were shot in the same area according to Police. A 24-year-old male was shot and called for ambulance near the 1500 block of Broadway, while a separate 19-year-old male was shot and transported himself to Northlake Methodist Northlake. The male claims he was shot near the same area but Police have not confirmed exactly where yet. Police are investigating the chance they may have shot each other according to sources. One male shot only suffered graze wounds sources told RNS the other was shot in the back and arm. He was later airlifted to Christ Hospital.
