Valpo Gas Station Burglarized
The Valparaiso Police responded to an activated business alarm, just before 4:00 a.m. Tuesday, at Casey’s General Store, located at 4300 Calumet Ave. Upon arrival, officers discovered entry had been made through the broken, glass front doors. It was discovered that an undisclosed amount of goods and products had been removed from within. Video surveillance indicated the act had been committed by at least two African American male subjects, who wore masks that partially covered their faces. The video also captured a vehicle parked along the front of the store, which is believed to be a dark colored Ford Taurus, with an Illinois plate.
