18 Year Old Shot Walking Early Friday Morning In Hammond

On February 14th, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Hammond police responded to the 6600 block of Marshall in reference to a shooting, Lt. Steve Kellogg of The Hammond Police told Region News. Victim witnesses stated that four subjects were walking from a house in the area when an unknown black male began shooting at them. The victims fled on foot, and one victim, an 18-year-old male, was struck in the leg. The shooting victim was transported to the hospital and was treated. He is in stable condition, Kellogg stated.

UPDATE – Sources say the three men could possibly be associated with the Purdue NW baseball team.

  1. I’m sure that once in congress Mayor Tom will make the country just as safe as Hammond is. Maybe even by taking away lawful gun owners rights.
