Illinois State Police Investigating Shooting On I-57
Illinois State Police (ISP) officials are investigating a reported shooting,
which occurred on Thursday, February 13 , 2020 at approximately 10:10 p.m. at I-57
northbound at 119th Street.
ISP officers responded to a local area hospital to speak with two victims involved in the reported expressway shooting. A male driver and male passenger both suffered non-life threatening injuries resulting from apparent gunshot wounds.
The ramp from I-57 southbound to 119th was shut down for investigation at 12:05 a.m. and reopened at 1:35 a.m. The incident remains under investigation.
