63 Year old Stabbed Multiple Times In Gary
On August 26, 2020 approximately 9:34 PM Gary Police officers were dispatched to the 200 block of East 40th Avenue in regards to a stabbing, according to Lt. Dawn Westerfield of the Gary Police. Upon arrival officers discovered a 63-year-old male from Chicago, on the sidewalk with apparent stab wounds. The male was highly intoxicated and had difficulty conveying the events, Westerfield told RNS. He stated the suspect is his 69-year-old brother who is the resident at that location.
The 63-year-old male was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing.
