Jackie Lynn Woynarowski, 51, of Wheatfield, has been charged in Jasper County after police alleged he threatened law enforcement officers, attempted to kick a deputy, a doctor and hospital security personnel, and resisted arrest while intoxicated outside a Wheatfield Dollar General.

According to court documents, a Jasper County sheriff’s deputy responded at approximately 5:02 p.m. on July 12 to the Dollar General at 3898 W. State Road 10 after receiving a report of an intoxicated man stumbling around and harassing customers.

When the deputy arrived, investigators said Woynarowski was speaking with a woman outside the store. The deputy reported smelling alcohol on Woynarowski, who was allegedly slurring his speech, stumbling while walking and displaying poor manual dexterity after dropping money and attempting to pick it up. Woynarowski reportedly told deputies he had walked to the store and planned to walk back to his residence.

Police said Woynarowski twice refused to submit to a portable breath test. According to the affidavit, he became extremely agitated and told a deputy to “suck on this” while pointing at his crotch area.

Investigators alleged Woynarowski pulled away from deputies as they attempted to place him under arrest, continuously pushed against officers, refused to walk and refused to sit inside the patrol vehicle, requiring officers to assist him.

According to court documents, while en route to the hospital, Woynarowski continuously made sexual remarks about “sucking his dick” and also stated, “I will find you after this.”

At the hospital, police said Woynarowski again refused to cooperate and had to be carried inside by officers. Court documents allege he continuously yelled sexual remarks and profanities while there were three other patients in the emergency room. Despite being instructed to keep his voice down, investigators said he continued yelling profanities and sexual remarks.

According to the affidavit, Woynarowski attempted to kick the deputy, kicked at a doctor after being medically cleared, attempted to kick hospital security personnel while being restrained, threatened to kick the deputy in the mouth and also threatened to kick a jail officer.

Court records show the charges were filed July 14 and remain pending.
