Hammond Police Make Arrests On Two Shootings This Week
On March 27th, The Hammond Police Department SWAT team served an arrest warrant at the Park West Apartments in Griffith and arrested 23-year-old Alize M. Hicks from Chicago. On March 28th, Hicks was charged with Attempted Murder and Aggravated Battery and is in custody at the Lake County Jail. This stemmed from the article below on the Shooting on New Hampshire.
On March 28th, The Hammond Police Department and Lake County Prosecutor’s Office charged 27-year-old Anthony Devante Cobb from East Chicago with Attempted Murder, Aggravated Battery, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Serious Violent Felon, and Resisting Law Enforcement. Mr. Cobb is in custody in the Lake County Jail. This arrest stemmed from the shooting of a female in the head at a Hammond Gas Station. Article link below.
