Highland Police Seek Info On Wallet Theft Suspects

The Highland Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying two subjects suspected in a theft of a wallet from the purse of an elderly shopper at the Highland Meijer recently, according to Commander John Banasiak of The Highland Police. The subject in the pink removed the wallet from the purse, surveillance video showed. After stealing the wallet, the subjects then went to another nearby store and the subject in the blue used the victim’s stolen credit card, Banasiak said.

The subjects were seen on video exiting the pictured vehicle, which is believed to be an Infinity, with the model likely being a M35 or G37. The subject in the blue t-shirt has a tattoo on her right arm. The subject in the pink shirt has bowed legs.

If anyone can identify either of the subjects, you are asked to call Detective Darren Conley at the Highland Police Department at 219.838.3184.

(All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.)
