John Doe Found In Miller Section Of Gary After SWAT Raid
On Sunday around 2 PM The Lake County Coroners Office was dispatched to the 8600 block of Juniper Terrace in Gary’s Miller section of the city.
A white male was discovered but has not been identified pending notification of family. The manner of death is still pending at this time according to the Coroners Office.
A large Lake County Sheriff’s Department presence was seen in the Miller section early Sunday which included SWAT vehicles. Sources tell RNS a murder suspect from the area was apprehended that is involved with this death case.
Police learned new information on this case early Sunday morning after a 911 call off of Ripley in Lake Station. Due to the pending case more information could not be released Sunday. Check back for updates on this case Tuesday.
