Missing 16 Year Old From Hammond. Update – Found Safe
UPDATE – SHE HAS BEEN FOUND SAFE
Shauna Murphy is 16 years old from Hammond and was reported missing. Shauna is 5’2 & 140 pounds. She was last seen at 7:45am January 5, 2020 in Hammond riding in a newer silver Chevy 4 door sedan. She could possibly be in the area of Calumet Township or near Chicago Heights, IL her family believes.
A police report was filed with the Hammond Police Department. Hammond Police believe there are no signs of foul play and don’t believe she is in danger. Anyone with any information on Shauna Murphy’s whereabouts please contact Detective Ray at 219-852-2970

He has taken her across State lines. This would classify him as a child molester, pedophile and a sex offender, which also would classify him as a !!! All of this puts her in GREAT DANGER!!! Not trying to be rude, but the names you’re calling are VERY out there. As well as, the police have already searched his home and there is screen shot text from your granddaughter saying she was leaving bc her father beats her and she couldn’t take it anymore. Yeah realize he can sue you for defamation? You need to focus on your granddaughter and stop trying to blame this kid that has fully been doing whatever is asked by him by law enforcement.
Why defend a 20 yr old man taking a 16 yr old girl anywhere without her guardians knowledge? Gross.
Because he could be innocent as in literally helping an abused girl get to safety.
