Shooting At Merrillville Red Roof Inn Sunday
Around 9:45PM Sunday, Merrillville Police responded to shots fired at The Red Roof Inn located at 8290 Georgia St. On arrival officers found a victim sustaining a gun shot wound in a room.
Preliminary information is describing a suspect was pounding on the room door before witnesses heard 6-10 shots fired.
Superior Ambulance transported one to a local hospital but their condition is unknown at this time.
