Teen Killed In Porter County Crash Identified
On Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at 10:28 PM, The Porter County Coroner’s Office was dispatched to area of E 129th Ave and S County Line Rd in regard to a fatality involving a motor vehicle vs. tree, according to the Porter County Coroner. Upon investigation it was found that the backseat passenger of a 2013 Hyundai Sonata with three occupants was deceased, a release stated Thursday. The decedent was identified as 15-year-old Christian Villarreal, of Boone Grove. The accident remains under investigation but police say speed was a factor. A 19 year old driver from Demotte and a female passenger were also treated for injuries.
The Porter County Coroner’s Office was assisted by the Porter County Sheriff’s Department, Lakes of the Four Seasons Fire Department, Boone Grove Fire Department, Hebron Fire Department and Union Township Fire Department.
