The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Merrillville District Office executed a federal search warrant at Lowell Animal Hospital earlier this morning as part of an ongoing investigation into the alleged diversion of controlled substances.

Following the law enforcement activity, Lowell Animal Hospital announced it would be temporarily closed for the remainder of the morning.
