EC Police Seek To Identify Person Last Seen With Homicide Victim


The East Chicago Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance to help solve a homicide that occurred on Sunday June 28th at approximately 5:41 p.m, according to Deputy Chief Jose Rivera.

On Sunday June 28th 2020 at approximately 5:41 p.m. East Chicago police officers responded to a call of shots fired in the rear of 1207 W. 150th Street. Dispatch advised responding officers that there was a man down in the alley, Rivera said. Arriving officers located an unresponsive male subject lying in the alley face down. The male victim was identified as 17 year old Nicholas A. Pisani of East Chicago. He suffered a single gunshot wound to the chest area and was subsequently pronounced deceased on scene by medics. 

The Criminal Investigation Division has been working hard on this case and now they need the public’s help. This individual picture below was the last person with the victim just moments before the victim was discovered in the rear of 1207 W. 150th.
