Lowell Girl Receives Parade From First Responders For Her Birthday & Thoughtfulness

On Tuesday morning Lowell had a very special 12th birthday parade for Addison Brown. Addison over the last year has done the selfless act of donating hundreds of “Smile Bags” to multiple departments. Addison’s goal is to help emergency personnel bring smiles to children during traumatizing events by utilizing these bags which are given to children by officers.

The parade was organized by Sergeant Glen Fifield of The Indiana State Police. Numerous other departments also joined including Indiana State Police, Lowell Police, Lowell Fire Department, Cedar Lake Police, Highland Police, Hammond Police and Schererville Police. We hope you have a wonderful day Addison, happy birthday!
