Man Crashes Golf Cart In Gary and Is Airlifted In Serious Condition
A man was seriously injured Sunday afternoon in Gary around 3pm while he was driving a golf cart and crashed avoiding a parked truck. The driver flew out the cart head first into the concrete, he was not wearing helmet. Paramedics transported the man to Northlake who was described as in and out of consciousness with serious head trauma. The male woke up once and tried to hit a paramedic before falling back unconscious. He was later transported from Northlake to a Chicago Trauma Center by UCAN helicopter. His current condition is unknown.
